Stayed here a couple of years ago. It's a 4 star but nowt to write home about. Average I would say. No entertainment at night. Good pool complex but you have to play that silly game where you get up at 5am and put your towels out.
Pleased the municipal beach was over the road. Some good restaurants situated close by.

We've just returned to Limassol after a two night stay at the Aloe Hotel.

I agree it's just about average, and wouldn't give it a four star classification. The pool area is lovely, with more than one pool and also they provide pool towels free of charge.

Rooms and public areas are very clean. Entertainment was sadly lacking but that could be due to the time of year.

Food though wasn't much to write home about - I admit I am a bit picky but the choice each evening was a bit limited.

The two breakfasts we had had exactly the same choices although there were a lot to choose from. However the number of cats drove me crazy, at least ten of them roaming around your seats waiting to be fed !

Again, lots of nice bars/cafes/restaurants nearby. We were very impressed with the improvements made to the municipal beach across the road.

Will I go there again? No, I don't think so.

I can also assure you that currently this hotel is like 'Gods waiting room', and without such clients many hotels would be closed.

I have relatives staying there who are not too impressed with the rooms, the 4* mantle has slipped.

mum and dad stay here every year for a month either jan/feb in snow, sun, rain, storms, and this year, my mum was taken into hospital, and the staff were absolutely fantastic emailing me as to where my mum was and how she was, even tho i was in contact with her. Another nice thing, was that i asked if they could put some wine on their table, and beers as the month went on, and they were so good. I stayed at this hotel when i was about 22, and omg how it has changed, i personally wouldnt go there, its not up to the standard that i would like, but mum and dad love it, and i cannot praise the hotel enough for the concern and thoughts relayed to me via email when mum was ill.
thank you aloe

What a DUMP. We went for three days Christmas Break. The Christmas Day lunch was great...However that was all that was good.

1 The carpets are old worn and filthy

2 We had ants all over the room

3 Food at lunch was served again in the evening

4 No entertainment-well a scruffy chap strummed a guitar one night in the bar

I would not go there again and would tell everyone to stay away.

I Stayed there for 8 days in Jan 2013 as part of a 2 month break back in Paphos, its just as Neil described it 'GODS WAITING ROOM' right enough, it also hangs on to a reputation from days gone buy but sadly has never moved on and just stood still for years now, hotel itself and rooms were clean enough and its well enough run but not a 4* food was also mediocre, very repetitive, very little choice and boring!
