I was previously mailed by a company offering a key type aircon security device that saved excessive use and abuse etc, it was aircondirect.com or something similar, does anyone know the actual link.
Cheers

Tanny

You can buy a key operated electrical outlet that turns power off completely.

However, if you want to stop over-use by limiting use to a maximum of say 60 or 120 minutes, you need something like the Horstmann Electrisaver E15 or E30.

You can buy these in Cyprus (approx €50), but I bought mine from tlc-direct in the UK at about £19.15 each + postage. Replacing the existing fused-spur on the a/c supply is a doddle.

I hope this helps

Steve

No Pete,

You'd be as wrong to assume I am an electrician as I would be to assume the model in the Fun Stuff photo on your web-site is your missus

I've PM'd you ....

best

Steve
