These little guys and girls were rescued by us recently as they were all running loose down the middle of various roads avoiding the traffic - they are all cleaned up (no ticks or fleas) and we have started the process of vaccinations etc. - but in the longer term we are unable to keep them as we have two dogs already and 15 cats (all rescues bar one cat) - if anyone would like to have a new pet then please get in contact - they are all available either on their own or in whatever combination of up to four you would like ( )

They are all very contented and sweet natured and love a fuss and a cuddle. The Mini Pinscher is about 5 months old whilst the other three are about 10 months old and we believe are siblings (a brother and two sisters).

You can all stop beating a path to our door to re-home these little dogs - thanks to everyone for your underwhelming generosity!!

Unfortunately we could no longer care for them as there is a limit to our financial ability, especially as we have also now got a large (but very skinny) hunting dog we picked up off the road last week.................but don't worry, I know its pointless asking for her to be re-homed by anyone reading this forum so I won't bother asking

Dont let it get to you Judge, weve got a stray (very nice one) who has adopted us and countless exhunters as well as exhouse dogs wandering around. These are the lucky ones who seem to be fending for themselves.

I do doubt the sanity of the Stray that adopted us..... Imagine picking us over the people with nice food.

Can't help it Doug - feel like sh*t at the minute as we have let the little guys down - if we didn't care we wouldn't have picked them up and had them spayed and neutered, wormed, deflea'd etc etc

Thing is most of us have done so and are full. We have three rescue dogs. Two were found locally by ourselves, and the other one came from Paphiakos. So we are full sorry.

I think one of the problems is that so many ex pats who used to adopt these poor animals have left Cyprus and those that are still there have already got their own . Add to that the working ex pats who struggle to make a living and feed themselves and it is not surprising.
We adopted 2 cats and shipped the surviving one back with us at a cost close to 1000 euros , at that price it is not surprising that others just dump theirs if they have to leave Cyprus. I do not condone it, I just understand it.
Hopefully you will find homes for these little dogs Chris.

So sorry that we can't help. We have two rescue dogs and can't take on a third. I'd be happy to donate a few sacks of dog food if that would help? Small comfort I know but it's the best I can do sadly.

................and my update is 17 cats and 5 dogs now - the latest dog had a 2kg tumour dragging on the ground hanging from her belly - just over €300 later and she appears to be on the mend!!
