I am sorry to do this and dont do this lightly but I have had nothing but stress and headache from
ProAct Partnership.
I have used this firm for 7 years and it has been a catalogue of disaster.
I incurred costs as they did not pay my Social on time.
They did not file my accounts on time. My tax returns havent been filed for 4 years even though I have paid up to date.
They do not call back when they say they will
The staff leave all the time and therefore there is no continuity.
You can never get hold of the owner Sam Orgill.
We had exactly the same experience with this crooked so called accounting company. Sam Orgill is a crook and a liar. He told us he had registered us for VAT and kept saying he had filed our VAT returns. When we asked why he hadn't called us in to sign them he said he had signed them on our behalf. When we eventually sacked him and found a decent accountant it turned out he had never even registered us so we were two years behind in VAT returns. Our current Accountant had to work very hard to sort out the mess and save us from having heavy penalties.
Staff don't stay because he is a terrible boss but when they leave they find he hasn't paid social for them so they can't get any dole.
He charges well over the odds for making people wills and then charges a yearly fee for storing them. They should be stored in the court house, properly sealed by the court not stored by this crook.
Steer clear of this crook and if you are already using him, sack him ASAP and get a proper accountant.
