'Good Luck' please dont take this the wrong way as its meant to be a constructive comment, but If you can get 450 euros per month for a 2 bedroom flat in Kissonerga then I'm in the wrong job!!!

My friend pays less than that for a 3 bedroom house.

Hi
The apartment was rented out for 3 years at 475 euros but admittedly it dropped to 450 that was only 12 months ago
has Paphos got that cheap?
what is the bottom line for owners, who will have to be carefull what clientèle they attract as my last tenants used calor gas instead of the air con for heat and in the process ruined the blinds and marked the wooden furniture
Also this is only for 3 months and would possibly attract a retired couple over winter
well done to to the people who rent villas for 450 but i am sure this isa long term rent, there's a difference with mid term
anyway thanks for your comments

There are plenty of two bed apartments/townhouses for rent for around 300 Euros at the moment, even seen some at 250, all over Paphos. Many are in a great decorative order with modern furniture. Someone looking at wintering here would probably just take a 6 month let.

Maybe install electric panel heating for your 'guests'? Cleaner than gas and cheaper for the client than using the A/C. Nobody expects people to use A/C for heating if they are renting for that long. Is the property CTO approved for rentals? I don't know many that are, if any!

I know people who are renting apartments for €250 pcm and others who have a nice detached house with pool for €450.

While you may be right about slightly higher rents for shorter term lets, most people looking to rent a 2 bed apartment won't be expecting to pay more than €300 maximum.

You have also posted this in the day to day discussion section of the forum and, as such, you are likely to get a lot of opinions on the rent you are seeking to get.

Potential tenants probably won't be looking here either. You should maybe look at property for rent sections of the various forums.

Also if you are seeking to rent yourself rather than through an agent people would expect to be paying a little less as there are no agents fees involved.

As has been said above there are plenty of detached 3 bed villas with private pool for around the €450 mark so I personally think you are being somewhat optimistic but I wish you luck in finding someone.

We rented a fabulous 3 bed 2 bath house in Peyia with garden parking and seaviews etc for 450 per month .
300 is about as much as you could hope for in the present climate especially if no utilities are included in the rent asked.

Its a renters market here for the foreseeable future, if you want to get any rent at all €300pm is better than zero.

Very true Dave! Especially if you have a mortgage to pay on the said property!
