A friend in Portugal has recommended MOBDRO (?) for TV - he gets Sky Sports etc for nothing. Too good to be true? Has anyone any experience of it here?
Apologies if this has been answered before - a quick search of this forum didn't show any similar Q's!

Had a quick glance a couple of years ago but was unimpressed. We pay £8 a month for Sky in HD, and the difference is phenomenal. In my view sport these days needs to be in HD.

Modbro is good for sports and has lots of different streams, they are live so you can't pause for a cuppa.
Entirely free but the downside is that some streams particularly from the USA buffer or have sound badly offset.
I have only tried Modbro directly on an Android box and a Firestick. As I am currently setting up a box for a friend I am going to try Modbro through Kodi. This may be important because my Kodi is modified to hold a larger than basic buffer - thus no buffering. I will post again if Modbro is better through Kodi.

If anyone is having buffering issued with Kodi, let me know and I will link some helpful tutorials. :sunny

Just updated my Kodi , on Amazon fire box, to Krypton. Having cleared out everything with a fresh start seems to be the business.
