House of Commons have voted down the HoL amendments, little enthusiasm for regurgitating them by HoL, so way is clear for May to finally trigger Article 50.

Hallelujah!!!

Once more back to HOL tonight where as George says they will have no stomach for reinstalling the amendments so tomorrow the Bill will go to the Queen for signature and thereafter the letter instigating Article 50, I would guess later on tomorrow.

22.12 hrs. GMT Monday, 13th March, 2017 :- The House of Lords have been defeated.
Mrs. May now has full authority to trigger Article 50 to get the UK out of the EU.
I would love her to do this on Wednesday, 15th March ("Beware, the Ides of March" .... removal of Caesar, i.e. the EU ) ! :sunny
but she has until the end of March to do that anyway. :celeb2

Bearing in mind the EU are pressing for her to trigger Article 50 ASAP - I hope she
will keep them waiting, she is in charge of this not them!
How about 25th March, the date of the EU's 60th Anniversary.
Up yours Junker and cronies!
Geoff.

That was my second choice, after all the threats thrown at the UK ! .... but I don't think Mrs, May would be so vindictive.

As a little aside, here is an interesting chart from the BBC yesterday that 'appears' to show there are NO Cypriots living in the UK :doh

The sooner the better, before the wreckers (nee traitors) like Blair et al are able to concoct other 'reasons' that it should be delayed.
As soon as it is enacted, the next thing on the agenda should be to disband the HOL!

I think the HOL should be reformed rather than get rid of it.
A second chamber is useful to hold the Govt to account, in addition to the official opposition doing that.
The opposition can always be outvoted by the Govt; the HOL is the fallback.
BUT the HOL should be ALL elected.
IMO
Geoff.
