Paphos People

I don't know if any of you are interested in the Pafos Aphrodite Festival at the end of August. This years production is to be Madame Butterfly on the 29,30,and 31st August. I have been to two of these productions, and they were excellent. This happens to be an opera I have always wanted to see, so I'm looking forward to it.

No offence, but count me out. I like a bit of Pavaroti, but a whole opera just leaves me cold.

I will be at the Rock Festival in Pissouri if they repeat it again this year.

I'm not as cultured as you pair (CF take note. Posh, eh? )

I would love to see Madam Butterfly. When I am in the mood I play all the CDs - must admit it has to be when Steve isn't around, but I find it completely relaxing - especially with my eyes shut going over the story. Such a beautiful, yet tragic story.
