Please explain how you can be in debt if you are not allowed to borrow and you have balanced your budget every year. As both the Scottish Govt and Westminster have admitted most of the figures in Gers are based on estimates as no separate figures are kept.

No myth.
Westminster (the elected UK Govt) pays a per capita subsidy to Scotland every year.
They have devolved powers which means they can spend most of this as they wish. So for example they have no University fees for Scottish students studying at Scottish Universities.
That per capita subsidy is much larger than the average per capita cost in England.
If they ever got Independence they would go bust.
No surprise, then, that the canny Scots did not vote for Independence, and are not likely to.

It is not a subsidy but a return of some of the revenues raised in Scotland.

Plus extra funds to help Scotland fill the depleted income from oil, farming, fishing and it's lack of industries.

No extra funds. The money allocated to Scotland is less than the amounts raised. Don't forget that Westminster benefits from the taxes on Scottish products,e.g. Whisky.

What else, other than bottles of whisky (compared to the industries in other parts of the UK) ?

I can only presume that from your posts that you are a beneficiary of the effects of whisky?
