Ps; If you where cut-up on the road today by a Black Pajero with it lights on FULL beam and the horn going - It was ME so now you know why!!!

I know how you're feeling mate, having 2 boys, I had to visit the E&A a few times when they were younger especially with my youngest who is accident prone, as he thinks he's indestructable & has the scar's to prove it

Kids hey! they are full of suprises, knowing how many parents feel, our youngest has to be the worst for accidents he will fall over his own feet, only problem being is he suffers from white breath holding... yeh i never heard of it before, but if he has a sudden shock his body will shut down, it is not a pretty sight.
Apparently he should grow out of it but there has been a case with a forty year old man who still suffers it, i hope my son is not one of them.

Oh well as i say love to Hannah and i hope you have now recovered from the shock Stuart.

Stuart hope Hannah is ok - kids are always up to things.

Just to let you know what I went through with my eldest.

18 months old - jumped out of a first floor window at 5.30am thought he was batman - phoned the hospital and they were waiting at emergency for him - after various xrays not a scratch on him.

One week later pulled down a pot of tea on top of him lucky he has a quick thinking mum.

Two weeks later reported to the Cruelty to Children as he used to sleep walk and got out in the garden (three feet of snow), obviously he woke up and started screaming.

From then on it was downhill since he was hyperactive and I was up from 6am to 1am the following day with him and had to survive with only 5 hours sleep (if I was lucky), always on the go, knocking himself, running into glass doors you name it he did it, plus having another one at only nine months old. Thank goodness he is in the UK now and a man.

My goodness you have had some major experiance of parenthood to say the least, i hope your son has grown out of the sleep walking now he is an adult?

I take my hat off to you Trish, you must have been a walking zombie or wonderwoman.

Hi Stuart

Hope Hannah is ok now.

Spent many an hour at casualty with my two now both adults.
Even got on first name terms with the Casualty Doctor!

Trish, I have still not got out of the sleepwalking habit and have done some strange stuff and injured myself severely.

I once fell down some stairs in a stange house, broke my leg, neck and needed stiches in my arm and head!!

Still sleepwalk and talk now.

Andrew tells me all about my escapades in the morning as I often wake him up with some ridiculous conversation.

I asked him to call an ambulance the other night as I had to deliver some keys urgently to a client. What was all that about???

P.S Stuart, must talk to you about your black Pajero. We are looking for one.

My youngest son was put in traction 2 months before his 3rd birthday after jumping off his bunkbed & splitting the thigh bone in his right leg length ways:!:
It happened just after my wife & I split up, so I was living some 40 miles away at the time & broke every landspeed record getting to the A&E but once I got there, he was laughing & playing, even though he hadn't had any pain relief
He should have been in traction for 8 weeks but after 4 weeks he was using it as a swing & sitting on his bent leg, so the Consultant said he was fine and released him.
He's never had any side effects apart from saying he didn't jump, he was pushed off the bunkbed by his older brother kids eh

Been there. Its just as well kids bones heal fast unlike or hearts that break to see them in pain .oh the joys of parenthood. And it never stops no matter how old they are.
