Is there any mobile phone provider that can provide the facility of 2 phones on one number,
in that if one is busy with a call, then another incoming call diverts to the second phone?
This is merely what is available on fixed lines, where (e.g.) a business can have any number
of lines with consecutive calling.
Amos.

Yes, it is called call forwarding. Speak to your phone network, or Google it if you prefer, for instructions how to set it up.

Thanks Effsie.
But doesn't that method entail having the 2nd phone with a different number?
Amos.

Yes, how else are you going to do it? With a land line, you have multiple physical lines, which I don't believe that you can do with a mobile, but you get a second phone (yes it will have to be a different number) and just divert the first phone to it on busy. That gives you the result that you are looking for, doesn't it?

Yes, that works OK with 2 phones, but suppose as a business I require 5 lines.
So that a call coming in goes to the first free one.
I don't think this can currently be done (MTN say it can't).
Only way is fixed lines. Yuck.
Amos.
