Us older generation can recall all the above and many more besides. Good to look back and recall them. Remember the dip pedal in the old cars for the headlights.? The big bench front seats in the old cars. The ink wells in the classrooms and an ink monitor to fill them up. Ahh, happy days long gone.

I was a betamax man because at the time it had far superior picture and sound compared to vhs. In time, a couple of years vhs caught up.
All crash gearbox ! No syncromesh. For a long time sync on 2 ,3,4 but not on first.

When I met OH, he had a 1973 Ford Cortina with a foot operated windscreen washer, with a ring round it that operated the wipers. It was on the bulkhead to the left of the clutch!

On of my pals daughters was trying to describe a picture while playing a game last Christmas, she kept saying "its one of those black CDs"

Turns out it was an LP!

I remember putting a piece of of cardboard in my bike spoke so that it made a "ratatat" noise as you cycled along

Don't ask me why it was done but I remember a lot of kids doing it.

Harmless innocent fun I think was why
