Tonight's news looks like the virus is coming back, UK have announced that anyone returning from Spain must go into quarantine for 14 days, as the lock-down was relaxed more people want to go on holiday (fully understand) but would you really.

In my opinion - I know this sticks in the throat and people are desperate for an income, countries should have written off the tourist trade for this year, it was just a perfect storm and inevitable that allowing people to travel would just invite trouble, the virus had not gone away and will not go away till a vaccine is made available.

I am desperate to get back but would not risk flying with a plane full of passengers, you never know there may be people on that plane who are carriers, would you risk it.

In Cyprus we have had 47 new cases so far this month

Worryingly now in Limmasol the virus is out in the Community

We have told our family to stay away from flying anywhere and that we will see them all next year

But it is hard and difficult ....as tourist countries like here in Cyprus are desperate for people to holiday here ...people are desperate to work
My heart goes out to all businesses and workers in these hard times

Listening to the news on the radio, Labour are slagging the Tories about short notice about implementing the lock down, the health minister defends his actions

Corona virus: Raab defends 'swift decision' on Spain quarantine, he says we cannot risk a new outbreak and another lock-down, now if he had not Labour would have accused him of dithering, dammed either way.

My daughter was in Spain on holiday when Spain locked down back in March ...did they shout and screech at Spain? No of course they didn,t

All beaches closed without any warning...fines of up to 30,000 euros if you left your hotel for anything other than essentials ...and only one could go out at a time ....they got on with it....we are in a pandemic...things happen with speed

Sadly my 2 year old grandson did catch covid 19 when he was there in Spain and it has been proven that a lot of the uk,s virus came from Italy and Spain ....my daughters family...quarantined and isolated once home

We are at the beginning of a Novel covid 19 pandemic ..to which humans have no immunity.....they say 20 million have had the virus so far...greatly underestimated figure ...so if we put that at 60 million as a gestimate....there are billions of people alive in our world ...a tiny amount so far have actually had the virus

It is true ...80% will have few symptoms ...15% will know they have had the virus and 5% will be very sick in hospital and some 1-2% will sadly die .....sadly we have lots more deaths to come world wide from the poorer countries who will die from lack of simple hospital care and from those of us in richer countries and good medical care who have health and age issues

Just listened to an idiot being interviewed in Spain who said "I will just carry on as normal when I get home from Spain, I won't quarantine for 14 days...let the Government try to catch me" I hope they do catch him...total moron
