Anyone seen these in Paphos?

Good lady broke hers today and needs to replace it asap or no pies for me :lol:

Not seen any here ...but they are £2.99 in Lakeland
Who do post here ...but costs £7.50 postage
Maybe have one sent to family and then here?
Or sent to Cresswells in the uk and then sent here by boat to RSS for a small cost

Just a genuine query M.A.D. but what does the vent do that a hole or slit with a sharp knife can't.

Like ‘slits’ it vents steam in order to prevent a filling from bubbling over. The bird can also keep a crust supported, preventing a collapse in the centre. It also allows for an even bake in the top centre....apparently :lol:

Pie crust has no structure of its own. There are no leavening agents in it to make it rise or fall. What happens is that as the filling cooks, the fruit tends to shrink in size and become juicier. The crust follows the shape formed by the filling due to shrinkage.
If you overfill the pie, that leads to spillage from the sides
