Covid Vaccine appointment SMS problems

OK, we are hearing there are some problems with people NOT receiving a confirmation SMS about their appointment due to the huge ‘uptake’
If you are concerned, you can confirm your appointment by phoning 1474 (it might take a few attempts0

When you do get through IMMEIATELY you are connected press * for English followed by 1 for Covid followed by 2 for appointment confirmation

My appointment was confirmed immediately by email and SMS text

I made screen shot of my confirmation email and time slot
and took that with me...though not needed when I got there
As my name was down with time on their list

Yeah, ours came through reasonably quickly after we booked it via the GESY Portal however, I know of a couple of people who also booked last week but hadn't had an email or SMS hence the post about the 1474 number
