Location : The field behind the new Phil's Furniture shop Peyia.

Over the last month or so, this field, which for years has been bananas, has been stripped of all the banana shrubs, and prepared ready for something else.
Then a team of surveyors with theodolites and levels etc. spent a day there.
Followed last week by a team of men and machines who put up steel fence supports.
Saturday morning, all the fence supports were smashed down and bent beyond repair.
Sunday morning we went past and the banana shrubs were springing up again.
Only goes to show you can't keep a good banana down.

What's going on?

View from a distance and don't get between them, clearly a disagreement on land ownership.
