Over the past 48 hours a large quantity of ‘barrier’ have been delivered ready to block off roads from ‘tomorrow* The first stretch is from the Brewery Bar down to the Card Shop

Was speaking to project manager this morning
Question:- Are you starting tomorrow (Mon)
Quote:- “We will maybe put barriers in place during tonight”
Question:- “Will there be traffic management?”
Quote: “We don’t know yet”
Question:- “How long will the works take?”
Quote:- “ It will be finished when it’s finished…it could be very many weeks”
Question:- “How do people get the chemist; bakery; hairdresser or Haris?
Quote:- “I’m not sure, maybe walk”
At this point he decided he needed to go to a meeting he had forgotten about


Not feeling confident about Peyia’s tourist season this year

Very hard on businesses ....why was this not done during lockdown and the winter months and not just as we are starting the tourist season?
