Haven't we heard this before? :doh and look what happened :tickedoff

The armed forces of Belarus began sudden large-scale drills on Wednesday to test their combat readiness, the defence ministry of Ukraine’s neighbour said.

“It is planned that the (combat readiness) test will involve the movement of significant numbers of military vehicles, which can slow down traffic on public roads,” the Belarusian ministry said in a statement.

Against the backdrop of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ministry said the exercise posed no threat to its neighbours or the European community in general.

Belarus is a close ally of Russia. Russia calls its actions in Ukraine a “special military operation”.

Areas of Ukraine adjacent to Belarus, including its capital Kyiv, came under Russian assault in the initial stage of the invasion which began in late February and followed joint drills held by Russia and Belarus.

Now, however, Russia has focused its attacks on Ukraine’s eastern and southeastern regions.

Probably leading to the same result as the incessant build up and training of US and other NATO ofrces in the same regions including actually inside Ukraine.

UK has just deployed 8,000 more troops to Finland (a non NATO country) and the constant spending (33bn fro USA, and 300m from UK) to put arms into the conflict simply prolongs and heightens it.

Its time these big boys and girls that people are lied into voting for actually do their jobs and have a halting to the war, withdraw troops and armaments that shouldnt be there and sort out their own countries.

Cold Response 2022 is a long-planned exercise bringing together thousands of troops from NATO Allies and partners, including Finland, Sweden, Latvia and North Macedonia, testing their ability to work together in cold weather conditions on land, in the air and at sea.

Cold Response 2022
An exercise under the leadership of the Norwegian Armed Forces in winter conditions, Cold Response 2022 will involve up to about 30,000 troops in total from a number of participating countries.
The exercise will be organised in Southern, Central and Northern Norway from 14 March to 1 April 2022.
The exercise organisation will comprise the Norwegian Armed Forces, partner countries such as Finland and Sweden, as well as Nato member nations. The US, the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands will account for the largest part of the training audience forces.
Arranged every two years, the exercise was previously participated by Finland in 2016. The exercise planned for 2020 was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

So having an exercise that expired on 1 April justifies 8,000 troops being announced this week in parliament.

There is two sides to every conflict and the reputation of the West (our side!) is abhorrent and making us nothing more than warmongers and cash machines.
