A one-of-a-kind, purpose-built complex with five-star amenities will provide the opportunity for over-60s to live full lives while receiving the care they need

A new luxury residential development is turning retirement into a five-star resort stay. Designed for older adults to enjoy their life in an engaging, vibrant and stimulating environment, Cypress Park is a unique community that will provide the ideal setting for its residents with unparalleled services that provide complete peace of mind.

Brought to fruition by renowned Class A construction and development company, Medousa Developers – with over twenty years of experience in developing projects in Cyprus, Cypress Park is a pioneering project located on the outskirts of Paphos town, in the popular coastal village of Geroskipou.

Recognising the importance of independent senior living on the island, Tasos Loizou, CEO of Medousa Developers, ensures that the development will provide all-inclusive, resort style facilities for its residents in a worry-free, comfortable, enjoyable and secure environment.

“Our village gives you the opportunity to become part of something truly unique,” Loizou told the Cyprus Mail. “A vibrant community where people, who want to get the most out of life, will be able to do it together.” One of Cypress Park’s primary goals, according to Tasos Loizou, is to establish itself as a community-centred retirement village that recognises a diverse set of demands and lifestyle choices defined by happiness, security, peace of mind and health.

The purpose-built retirement community, which is geared toward individuals over 60, will have approximately 105, modern design freehold properties ranging from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments designed in an area of over 20,000 square metres, and set in lush, landscaped communal gardens. “The project will be constructed in two phases, with prices starting at €175,000 plus VAT.” “As with all off-plan developments, it is advisable to reserve your place at the early stages, as both increasing demand and prices will appreciate during the development period.”

Construction of Cypress Park is scheduled to commence September 2022 and will be completed within two-and-a-half years. “Medousa Developers are proud to be the pioneers in offering the most exclusive senior living resort in Paphos.”
The impressive clubhouse, located in the heart of this gated community, is the social hub of Cypress Park, where residents automatically become exclusive members, gaining access to a plethora of on-site amenities and services that include allocated parking for residents, visitors’ parking, guest suites available for rent at modest rates, a minimarket, a restaurant, a bar, luxurious lounge areas, a health and wellbeing centre, outdoor and indoor heated swimming pools, a gym, a jacuzzi, and an area dedicated to social and enrichment programmes and events. “It is also from here that the company will run the estate, maintain the grounds and properties, and provide all the services residents require,” Loizou said.

“If desired, additional support is always offered. This is ‘hassle-free living,’ with the assurance that all the assistance one requires is available whenever and wherever one needs it.”

The development also caters for wheelchair users, maintaining comfort and independence, thereby ensuring an active lifestyle for its residents. “Cypress Park creates an environment that enables easy public interaction by providing safe and accessible locations for wheelchair use throughout the community, including access to all apartments with the use of lifts.”
Cypress Park will also feature a fully licensed medical centre, supported by Bluecross and St George – one of Paphos’ leading and credible private hospitals – with on call doctors and nursing staff, ambulance and 24/7 emergency response. “All apartments in the complex will have direct digital access to the medical centre from the comfort of their own homes, while an on-site pharmacy, adjacent to the medical centre, will aid with minor health concerns and over-the-counter medicines,” Loizou added.

To ensure a carefree environment, safety is paramount, and no expense will be spared to provide residents with on-site security service and CCTV cameras 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, the development’s concierge helpdesk is always available to answer queries and offer personal assistance with day-to-day plans.

Medousa Developers believe that one’s later years should be defined by one’s own choices rather than compromises. Cypress Park undoubtedly meets the criteria for a one-of-a-kind, beautifully planned, centrally located, purpose-built community that offers the right location and five-star amenities for residents to live full and rewarding lives while receiving the support and care they need.

On Wednesday, July 6, at 10:30am, a special project presentation on Cypress Park will be held at the Elysium Hotel, Paphos.

Obviously different people have different outlooks and requirements. For me i doubt i could live in a retirement park, i need my workshop full of tools for engineering, welding ,carpentry and electronics, and lots of broken stuff needing repair, the idea of having socialising , pubbing, entertainers , reading etc sounds awful. as i said just goes to show how different people are.

When you are not very well, you don't need 1st class everything, just being made comfortable and a smile helps a lot.

Keep it simple.

Thanks
