Indeed let's get behind this man! Alas, UK citizens don't have a vote nationally and Cyprus has sold its soul to the EU and as a supplicant nation, must adhere to the dictates of the unelected, unaccountable EU Commissioners. If he were to be democratically elected by the people he would be taken down by the EU's troika, remember them, haircuts, and Cyprus would suffer as their cousins in Greece have.

I well remember the comments from many Cypriot citizens when they were undemocratically taken into the EU and the eurozone without a vote that they will take the EU's money but when they have to make significant contributions to Brussels' unaudited coffers they will leave, and they will do. This candidate's Manifesto has "Leave" written all over it.

Utter rollocks as usual, Clive. Ever a loser!

Even the good people of the UK have now woken up to the fact that there is NOT ONE tangible benefit to Brexit... and in all recent polls two thirds of the populace now agree that leaving the EU was a bad idea.

Of course the fraudster politicians (Boris and Nigel) who "sold" the concept of Brexit to gullible "leavers" cannot now be seen to back down and admit to the error of their ways. However, the BoE and many financial institutions are blaming Brexit for the UK's recent and projected dismal economic performance. Only social and economic outcast Russia is below the UK.
