I TOLD YOU NOT TO...

NO Complaints PLEASE... NOW Read On...

Have you noticed how Christmas has become so 'politically
correct' that no mention of Christmas is made by most retailers, we now wish people 'Happy Holidays.'

I miss the Old Fashioned Christmas when everyone wished each other 'Merry Christmas'. ...so this year I will be making a conscious effort to wish everyone Merry Christmas...my way of saying that I am celebrating the season and what it stands for.

So whatever your religion, or your beliefs, I'm asking you, my email buddies, if you agree with me, to please do the same.

And if you'll pass this on to your email buddies, and so on...maybe we can
prevent one more treasured tradition from being lost in the sea of 'Political Correctness.'

Love light and laughter to you and your loved ones

God Bless and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Now there's a challenge. DON'T READ. Well, the gloves are off then. Here is my take on it.

I received a card from my brother wishing me a peaceful winter solstace! What is wrong with wishing me a Merry Christmas?

I think people are afraid of the word Christ. Well, as Christmas is all about (alledgedly) celebrating His birth, and what He stands for, what is so wrong with proclaiming what we are celebrating?

My pet hate is the abrieviation Xmas. What does that mean? X marks the spot? X = wrong? X means cross out the Christ?

If people feel that uncomfortable about the word Christmas maybe they shouldn't be such hypocrits. Most are happy enough to jump on the holiday bandwagon and take the days paid annual leave.

Merry CHRISTmas to all. May the reason for the season swell your hearts and minds and bring you joy and peace.

Vee.

My parents are staunch Catholics and very much agree on the whole "X" instead of "Christ" that has increased with commercialisation.

As to your friend with the "Peaceful Winter Solstice" card, just tell them that this is in fact a Druidic festival and as such offends your Christian sensibilities!
