Well I'm shocked that Gary hasn't been on the site yet to mention this win over the Smoggies, especially as it was an own goal that won it for them

So from my reckoning, thats the Smoggies now 7 points behind the TOON with only 2 games left, so :iamwin again & Smurf now own's me a King Size Mars Bar as per our bet some 2 weeks ago :smilielol :smilielol

Well done to the Makems, you are now officially safe from relegation, enjoy it :celebrate

Many Congratulations Gary, I bet your head is sore this morning.

Now all we need is for the Smoggies to get one miore win and all 3 NE clubs are safe.

Looking forward to next season when hopefully the Glorious Spurs will start getting points off the NE clubs instead of helping them stay in the top flight like we normally do.

Well done mate.

Regards.

John

Well yes we've done it so what am I gonna worry about now ?
Yes I am a bit fragile today. Had a great day and it was a great match in a cracking atmosphere. Boro obviously didn't know we are the masters of the late goal.
Boro will be safe as well after next week.
There was a lot of Boro fans up for this game and their naughty boys had pre arranged meets in the city centre with the Sunderland mob. A lot of trouble.
There was a massive police operation even on the trains and unfortunately we witnessed trouble at close quarters on the train home.
Nevermind, we won didn't we
Gary

Gary

Seriously, how knackered would your lot be without all those late winners?? I make it at least 6 points you've salvaged at 90 minutes plus in home games alone - take them away and you would still be right in it...

Player of the season should be your fitness coach!! :D

They might just be terrified of facing Roy Keane in the dressing room!

Congrats JTS, we can take it easy now. I think we should play the youth team against Bolton in the hope we lose and put more pressure on Boro.
