Not cyprus related but been off 5 days and thought i would tackle the garden big stylr.Must say looking nice and used weed and feed on the lawn.Not had no rain and thought i would have to hose the lawn.Looked outside as it is chucking it down and waterd in weed killer on my lawn.

Must have loads of weeds as lawn is black.I shall give it a week and rake the dead moss and weeds out then reseed.Does it take long to get a decent lawn back

When we were in Scotland, we had a company called 'Green Thumb' who regularly came to weed, feed, and tyne our lawn - and they made a huge difference to our grass - we had no moss, ultimately! Alastair used to spend hours doing it himself - but ended up burning it or missing parts out. These guys came 2 monthly and did it all when we were out, at a very reasonable price. Sometimes they even said the lawn didn't require anything so no charges. We found them excellent and we recommended them to so many people, with same results.
When we did it ourselves, the Lawn took a long time to recover - and sod's law, the rain never came at the right time - in Scotland!! Hope it all works out for you OK.

Thanks for your reply and i really enjoy gardening as it helps me relax that is whey it is nice to get few days of sun.I lwork in a concrete box all day.Next few days will tell how many weeds.Once i have redone lawn i may post picture if it looks ok.

Well the rain we have had has certainly given the weed killer some get up and go.Also the feed has gone into the lawn.Just got to wait for nice day to cut and refeed.
