Anybody know where I can get a reliable sit on lawn mower?

My house in Kritou Terra is nearly finished and I will need one for when my lawn finally gets laid.

Preferably second hand (if reliable) but will consider new if not too expensive.

Thanks

Hi Keith,

Have you tried the 'Super Home Centre' under Debenhams, they may have some :?

Hi Pete. Nice to hear from you. :greetings

I've been to Superhomes many times but I've never seen one there. Having said that, I haven't been ready to get one 'till now so maybe I haven't been looking in the right place.

I'll take a look next week when I'm over again. :celebrate

Thanks
KEITH

Hi Frank,

It's not a lawn at all at the moment. It's still a building site. :doh

However, I live in hopes that my house will be finished before too long and so I am looking to the future. :congrats

The lawn will be around a qtr acre and the plan is that we will have a well that will be used to irrigate the whole plot. (That's the plan anyways).

None of this will be happening until at least August as the house is already overdue and the latest is that it will be completed beginning July. I really love Cypriot builders :!: :pow

Hi Keith

What sort of lawn will it be ?Thick bladed or fine.Nothing like cool lawn beneath your feet. :D

Hi Frank,

We're not close enough to that stage to decide which type it wil be yet.

However, I would probably prefer thick bladed...I like the spongy effect it gives to the feet.

In any case, the likelyhood will be that the decision will be made based on the best type for the soil. I am playing fast and loose with the term "soil" here as much of the plot is rocky and I don't think there's much in the way of deep dirt.

Hey ho...challenge is my middle name.

HAH!!

Actually, I think I've found just such a boutique that may just sell these beasts - along the Polis road on the way to Misogi, near the Empa turn (near the traffic lights).

I'll probably check them out when I'm next in Cyprus (early July hopefully - when my builder tells me the house will be finished :bounce - yeah, right! ).
