Paphos People

It was announced some time ago that Paphos Municipality was to build a coastal footpath, as part of its tourist upgrade, that would run to the end of the municipality area at the Imperial Hotel. For those who missed last night's Omega TV news, it seems that this is only part of the story.

The coastal path will actually run from the airport to Coral Bay and all the local authorities along the route will be responsible for their parts. Parts of the Chlorakas section of the path are already well in hand and the whole job is scheduled to finish in 2010.

Good news - long walk that one, but it would be nice if it is a decent path and we can take dogs on it - before anyone says anything I always have a good supply of plastic bags with me.

That means I can get my rollerbaldes back out!!!!

We always use the section between the Harbour & the lighthouse to take our pup for a walk & we always carry poopy bags to clean up after our puppy but lots of people don't & you have to watch were you're walking just in case

I hope they don't stop people walking their dogs down there as it's a good walk as Trish said but as its not safe anywhere these days, they should also think about putting in some dog park, so owners can let their dogs off their leads with out the worry of getting poisoned

I've got mine & the pup can pull me along the whole length

I will stick with you Trish walking dont see me on rollar skates
and if some one had forgot to pick up the poo i would be in it.
