Woke this morning with the on set of a migraine, took some pain killers & had fair hope that it would soon deminish but to no avail, I've still got it, pulsating across my forehead, sends spikes of pain to my temples, making my eyes water throught the black spots I see floating in front of them

Why do migraine hurt so much & why do different people suffer different effects to them

All this thinking & staring at this screen isn't helping but I have to do something to take my mind off it or I'll be lying in my bedroom in the dark, hoping the traffic outside isn't to heavy for a change

Sorry to hear that Pete, hope it eases soon. I'm lucky that I hardly ever get headaches (not even hangover ones) but I took to my bed last night at 8pm with a thumping head.

In view of the changeable weather, I'm wondering if the trigger could be atmospheric?

Hi Pete,

I know just how you feel as I am a major migraine sufferer, I take medication daily for them and my family post me Anadin Extra Monthly. I can honestly say I can't remember a day I haven't had a headache, but am thankful if it's not a migraine.

You need a cold flannel, dark room and bed... it's the only thing to do

I wish I was in my bed but then I'd be missing all the chats with you guys, so I'll take another load of Anadin Ultra Ibuprofen double strength gel capsules & get on with it, or I'll end up in bed for a few days if it takes a grip

Rest up now Pete before it takes a grip! mine would wipe me out for days unless i took to be straight away!

Its starting to ease off now, just taken my 3rd lots of pain killers, so I should be ok

Good to here its getting better how do you stay awake with all them drugs.
