Before I put anything else down I will apologise to all you cat lovers, but...............

In our area there are over 40 feral cats and some of the queens are on heat - kept getting woke up half the night with the toms all having a go at each other and can they make a noise, not just for a few minutes but sometimes for half an hour at a time.

I like cats but have to admit that they're driving me mad too at the moment! We have loads of feral cats too and just recently, there have been plenty litters being born, which in turn lead to more litters and so on.

It doesn't make it any better that a neighbour arrives home every morning at 1.30am and then feeds them (she's like the Pied Piper.....they come running, miaowing from everywhere!) I know she thinks she's being kind but feeding them just makes them lazy and with having a farm opposite, we need them hungry to eat the vermin! Mind you, they still manage to sit on our shed roof sunning themselves and licking their lips at my little min pin puppy running round blissfully unaware that she could be their next live meal he! he!

They get half an hour at a time. Wow. Lucky cats.

I am under strict instructions not to do anything other than sit on the settee, get up for a pee, or go to bed.
