Not actually true Willis :roll: he's handed in a transfer request to hasten a new contract for what he thinks he's worth & after his performances over the pre-season & last 3 matches, I'd be willing to increase his wages in accordance :shock:

If he is so very average, why is it that Villa & Liverpool are after him :? :? he must be doing something right if 2 clubs playing in Europe want his services :roll:

I understand Milner is signing for Villa today for £12m. If that is the price it is an excellent piece of business for the Toon. While he is a good player he is not the finished article and £12m now, especially if it is well spent will be a great help to KKK.

Looks that way, say 10mil in the crap-loids but that 100% profit if it's true... :roll:

We'll just buy someone who isn't able to cope with the Prem & wants 35k a week instead of giving that sort of wages to a player who in 3-4 yrs time will be the finished product & runs circles around all our other so called star players... I'm seriously disallousioned at the TOON right now :huff :huff

the talk back in the NE is that there is a sizeable sell on clause in the milner deal from when they bought him from leeds (rumoured 40%)

If he wants to go so be it. He supported them as a lad.
We'll be here a long time after Roy Keane's gone.
I've siad it before, he's in it for himself and he'll do whatever he wants.
There's a few things I don't like about him. Like not showing willing re his contract. Feeling the need to have his lawyer do the deal ETC, I think it shows an element of disrespect to the fans and to Quinny.
He is not bigger than the club and if he wants to go then cheerio is what I say.

Scoring against us doesn't narrow it down much this season.

Apparently the 2 he's talking about are Riise and Di Michele - if that's all we end up with in Jan we're in worse trouble than I thought.
