Paphos People

Hello Everyone.
This is Bob and Sue newcomers to your site. Our diary starts in July 2006. We came over for a veiwing in Paphos and was treated very well with the company that was to take us round and showed us various developments.After 2 days of house searching we settled for an off plan development, 2 bedroomed apartment in Kato Paphos. After 2 years with 7 month delay we are finally taking delivery of our new apartment at the end of this month We will be coming over end of this week to sort it out (we are very excited to be gettingthe keys at last.
So our next aim will be to move over permantly in October this year. We are still at the age to work as not yet ready to retire (worst luck) so we will be looking for jobs inthe hotel / retail industry for me and driving or handyman for Bob (eg, carpentry, pool cleaning ,maintence etc )
Looking forward to any recommendations and advise you can give to help us in our move. As we said we will be over end of this week July ,so if we can meet up with anyone and have a chat we would be most grateful.

When are you going back? There is a small gathering of PP at Pambi's for lunch on 12 August - would be good to meet you then if you are around.

Hi Everyone Bob and Sue again .
Just a quick thread to say it is now 11:15 am on the Isle of Wight at the start of CowesWeek and we are packing our cases to fly out tomorrow( sunday 3rd ),but could only get one way tickets as fully booked up and we had to leave it to last mintue as we have just found out the apartment is now ready for delivery to us on Tuesday.The developers are putting us up till then at one of their places,just off The tomb of the Kings road.So we will be away from the Mad Cowes Week and enjoying ourselves in the sun and getting new home ready to move to in October.(very exciting) So if there is anyone out there we can meet up with for a few words of advise ( perhaps a few drinks ) we will be most grateful. mobile number as we have a phone for Cyprus is 99803276 we will be there from 22:00 on Sunday.
