Thanks for thinking of me. I am okay. Really. I might get discharged on Monday, although the plan of care seems to change daily. So you might not have to tax your brain for too many days.

Hope your plans are coming together, Sam. You will be here soon. Bring woolley socks. It is blinking freezing at the moment.

I waited until 6 a.m. before I pestered the girl on reception for the library key today.

I mean - I have to log on to get my get well message, don't I?

The latest bit of news is that I may have to be put on an aero-med flight back to the UK for a specific blood test as they don't do it in Cyprus. How crazy is that? It has to be frozen blood and they can't guarantee it will remain frozen if it is flown across, so I have to go over there to have the test. Anyway, I will cross that bridge if I come to it. For now I am going with the flow and still hoping to be let out on Monday. I am signed off work then so I am going to become a lady wot lunches for a few weeks until I go back in again.

Molly and Ken came yesterday and I got a pass for a couple of hours to go and have a change of scenery in the cafe across from the Med Centre on camp. Then my friend Sheena and her other half Sid (Toon Army Supporter - another one!) came in the afternoon, along with Jackie the health visitor. So I was well amused yesterday.

Looking forward to visitors today, and then Phil is coming over on Sunday and we will go just outside the camp for Sunday lunch with Jackie and Pete, which I am really looking forward to.

So you don't have to worry, Tina. I am being well supported. But it is nice to know you are thinking of me - all the positive vibes have got to do some good, haven't they? Plus the Reiki that is coming across the miles from a very special lady.

This computer is so slow that I don't get to read all the posts, but I am really pleased when I log on and see all the new topics and how the site is progressing. I will be back home with a faster connection soon, (courtesy of Digby) so watch out!

Sorry I haven't been on for a couple of days, but although I have loved having visitors it is quite tiring, and I am having a bit of trouble with pain. So I have stayed on my bed when I can.

I am hoping to get out tomorrow - what's one more night? And I can't wait to be back in Narnia with food that may tempt me to eat, and where I can eat when I am ready and not when it is put in front of me.

A bit tearful today, but I hate being incapacitated.

It is lovely to get all your good wishes. But I am glad to see that there are lots of topics going up, and that the site is progressing so well. That is a real tonic too.

Just spoke to Verity and she sounds OK, just very fed up and bored. She is hoping to be out on Thursday now. It won't be tomorrow as they are starting her on a new drug. Phil has been in to see her already - didn't find out about the pies!!!

I have just caught up on this thread. I am smiling to myself - you are a mad lot. The site will be accused of being too touchy feely if you don't pack it in.

I am sorry I didn't log into the post for a couple of days. The slow connection drove me mad so I thought I would save it all up for when I got home. Then I felt too tired to log on yesterday.

The good news is that it doesn't look like I have to go on an aero-med flight, and that they think I will heal okay. Plus they are sending me for an MRI for my knee. So I have had a total MOT and should still be on target for being Fit At Fifty. As opposed to being Fit For Nothing.

Some people don't post about stuff like this happening to them. Me? Well I find it helps to put it down and press the send button. It gets it out of my head and into cyberspace. Whatever floats your boat, I say.

Tina, your brain can have a well earned rest now. Look forward to seeing you, Sam and Mia very soon. Thanks to all for bothering to post some good vibes.
