Well, how did it go??

We had a fast paced (for the first half anyway) 4-a-side game.

Was getting worried that people werem't man enough to take the rain and wouldn't turn up, but by the time we started the rain had cleared away.

If you'd switched your phone on instead of pretending to be on the plane you'd have got the message to turn up! Scared of a bit of rain eh!

I was actually back in the house by 7.15 so if I had got changed and come straight back out I could probably have just about made it.

But I was tired after a long journey. And Yvonne had cooked me a lovely dinner and it seemed rude to keep her waiting. And I was worried about playing a game without my usual full extensive warm up routine.

















Plus, it was raining.
