I have another job interview this afternoon. Hope I don't screw this one up and clam up as I normally do, as I hate interviews.

I am good at my job but just can't stand the interview process.

Anyway everything crossed as it would ease a lot of problems.

But why not take your laptop with you, register the interviewer as a PP user and conduct it by forum and pm, we could help you out, and you always seem to speak well on here..

Tanny it is thanks to PP that I have the interview, job put on this morning by Peppermint.

Don't have a laptop in any case. Need to get this computer up and running properly and a job before thinking of anything like that. Would look a bit funny taking a PC with me.

Best of luck Trish - if its a man interviewing you look at them and imagine them with their clothes off.

If its a woman - imagine her - no make up, hair tatty etc.

Bit of luck it might make you relax a bit.

Just remember to take your time answering the questions and ask them to repeat any that you dont understand. It can buy you time whilst you compose your answer.

Thank you all. It really is nice to think of all you folks routing for me especially since it is near the make or break time whether we stay in Cyprus or not, something I never thought we would have to consider but realistically we can't go on much longer as our savings will be depleted too much.

Thanks, feeling a bit more confident as it will be similar to a job I did with another developer. Must go now and look the part - it wouldn't do for me to turn up in jeans and fleece - now it is the business suit, hair to perfection (just be my luck I will have another bad hair day).

Just printed my new looking CV, plus reference so I am going to try and knock them dead

Will let you all know later how I got on, whether I froze and made a fool of myself or looked the tip top professional that I am really.

Update on interview Yvonne was great and really put me at my ease to an extent (thanks Peppermint). Very hard when you are not sure that the owner understands you and then when the rest of the family come in and start talking in Greek well.

Just got the feeling that I am too old and not "pretty" enough for them as I have all the years of experience needed for the job, just get that feeling and won't know until Monday or Tuesday.

Unfortunately I was in such a state before I went I had to have a teensy weensy drink to calm my nerves as I could not even put my make up on because I was shaking so much. Don't get me wrong I am not normally that bad but because everything is hinging on me getting a job very soon it feels as though my life depends on it. Actually it does because I don't think I could cope back in the UK now.
