Tevez has told Man U that despite them offering him a contract he is leaving.

Despite saying they would make him one their highest paid players he's off, and who can blame him, too little too late now!!

He's worth 10 of the 'winking diving cheat' who has just gone!!

Looks like Chelsea or Man City are the two contenders to buy him, Fergie's loss Mark Hughe's gain.

OK, let's get this straight, you're a Yorkshire Lady who supports Man Utd? How did that happen?? :D

Re Tevez, I think he's a good player, but probably not as good as he seemingly thinks he is - will be interesting to see how he does elshewere.

Well I don't think I know any Man U fans that are from Manchester, so not that surprising really.

There are lots of Manchester people who support the Reds, just as there are those who support the other team.

As for me being a Yorkshire Lady supporting Man U, well what can I say.

However I still look out every Saturday for my home town team Donny Rovers how they are doing, so I haven't totally defected have I?

CF I can't agree with you over Tevez I think he's played his heart out for Man U, I hope wherever he oes he gets the chance to play from the start unlike what he did at Man U.

I'll let you off I suppose. I sometimes regret I didn't have the common sense to be a glory hunter myself!

Now, I'm not sure, but I *think* her husband is from Manchester and he supports ManU(SA)

I've never met anyone from Manchester before who supported ManU(SA)

I was actually born in Shropshire somewhere, but live halfway between there and Stoke, so chose Stoke as they are my local team

Now that makes it a bit more acceptable - loyalty to a spouse's team makes for a much easier life! My other half wasn't much into football before she met me but is now a staunch toon fan, while to my eternal shame one of my very own sisters jumped the fence for an easy life after she married a mackem!

She even sent me a gloating text when we got relegated - can you believe that??

She's not my sister any more.

:huff

Man Utd ponder making late move for Man City, Chelsea target Tevez

Manchester United are making a shock bid to re-sign Carlos Tevez from under the noses of Manchester City.

The Daily Star says City boss Mark Hughes had hoped to clinch a £25.5m move for Tevez before next week’s pre-season tour to South Africa.

But the Argentina striker is in no rush to finalise his future and is biding his time. Tevez’s arrival has been delayed due to the amount of work required to ensure there is no trace of any third-party ownership arrangement.

But the Eastlands side could yet be pipped to the post in the race for Tevez by new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Chelsea have been plotting a deal for the 25-year-old and remain hopeful.

Manchester United are also considering making a shock late move to bring Tevez back to Old Trafford. Sir Alex Ferguson failed in his initial attempts to seal a deal to prolong the striker’s Old Trafford stay. But the United boss may yet make an improved offer.
