This week there is a bout of Friendly Internationals. That's right, just 3 days before the Premiership kicks off.
That means that most clubs will be without a number of players in the most crucial part of the build up to the new season.
For this reason Sunderland played a weakened team at Hearts when they would surely have wanted to play the team they intend to start with next week at Bolton.
I only know about my team but......get this..... we have 13 players away the majority of whom the manager will not see from now till next Friday.
It is giraffe potical isn't it ?

I assumed "giraffe potical" was a well-known North-Eastern UK phrase, but if you don't know what it means ........

Looks like the word filter have been in operation - I can only assume Gary was using some industrial language!
