Good result on Saturday Captain 1-1 consistent il say, didn't you draw 1-1 on your opening game last season? oh yes against Man Utd just doesn't look the same though. I may be wrong.

You seem to know an awful lot about Newcastle's results history. I honestly don't have a clue who you played first game last season.

Hang on Martin.
We take the mickey out of you and we are obsessed.
You take the mickey out of us and that's alright !
You might feel we are obsessed but that is only because you have given us so much ammo recently we must be getting to you.

Come on lads and Captain you lot have been giving us sxxt for years its time you had some back, like I said to some of my Geordie mates here, to be honest I didn't give a fxxk who went down last season as long as we avoided relegation, Newcastle FC , Middlesbrough FC mean totally nothing to me, my love has always have been Sunderland FC, I can remember the last few years being the only Mackem in the Frog and Toad and getting the pxxs taken out of me having to watch the small TV watching Gillette Soccer Saturday the teleprinter, so now the tables have turned , but what I have noticed is the lack of NUFC supporters nowadays around. I believe we have made some terrific signings this season ( another one yesterday ) and I really feel mid table is a possibility. So captain put as many funny pictures up as you like you and disco continue your duelling I'm not interested , only interested in looking forward to Saturdays and watching the lads WIN OR LOOSE. 24 hours to go and counting.

Methinks the lady doth protest too much! :D

p.s. I'll grudgingly admit your Geordie manager does look to have made some canny signings - can but hope it all backfires spectacularly!

I can't believe James doesn't want to take the mick outa the skunks.
Can't believe it !
Anyway,Martin, are you still intending to go to g and d to watch lower league footy or have your arrangements changed ?
Please let me know.
Seems you have signed Danny Simpson left back on loan. He played for us on loan a couple of years ago and was good.
I am out soon and want to know if the g and d is the place to bushwhack skunkers.

We'll be at the D&G, not sure about the "bushwhack skunkers" that you're refering too.

I'll be there early due my sins of my other half being a villa support.

Got a couple of bets myself mate Sunderland to beat Tottenham and finish above them. Feel confident after yesterday think Jones and Bent will be a handful once they click. Massive game Tuesday night will have to have kip so I can keep awake to watch it down Frog.

I'll be there but on my own as son is working in Birmingham. I fancy us to get a draw something we couldn't have done last season.
I too have a bet on that we will finish higher than Spurs. £20 but tbh I don't think I'll win that one !
I've just heard that David HEALY is going to Boro on loan and we are buying Tuncay. Hope so.
Hope to see you in the Frog and Toad, I haven't been before but think we'll be staying in Atlantica Golden Beach so not too far from Coral Bay. I'll be over for the Wolves game on 26/9 and the away game at Man United 3/10 ( Go back next day)
Stay in touch mate, Gary

3 - 1 against one of the best teams in Europe and going 1 - 0 up till half time no disgrace, yes they were far superior but like I said earlier in thread we have a massive fan base, a team which will gel together through the season ,and a big manager. Looking forward to the weekend game.

Well speaking as a non-league Oxford United supporter (who are currently flying at the top of the Conference), if you're over the moon with a 3-1 defeat against Chelsea then surely even a small loss must be a good result? :) :) :) :)

Like I said no disgrace 3-1 against the possible Premiership Champions , no one likes loosing but if we had last seasons team it would of been double figures, so yes happy with that result. Anyway thats history now looking forward to today's game.

I am in England James and will be at the match the safty.
We accept a 3-1 defeat cos it could have been many more !
I think we'll have a decent season and finish 10th or 9th but I think we'll have a slow start.
Don't know how today will go.
Bruce is complaining that the players are knackered !!!!!!!!
What already ???????????

Yes we were a bit lucky. No service for Bent at all. That will have done Kenwyne a lot of good and I thought both goals were very good goals.
Malbranque was class today. Richardson was anon how come after his pre season ?
Fulop was a liability with his punching
Bardsley gets 10/10
Nos was great when he came on !

It's massive in the other hemisphere. It's wierd but 2 mins in the chorus kicks in and you realise it#ll make someone a lot of money
It's by a guy called Luke Steel formerly of The Sleepy Jackson, what do ya think ?

James, hadn't noticed the number of hits. This guy is MASSIVE in Oz and Far east.
Son tells me even Michael Jackson didn't get this many hits.
Luke Steele is a bit weird but he makes catchy music no doubt, see you on 27/9

James, surprised Brucey is prepared to let Danny Collins go. Player of the Season 2 years running, standing in as Captain ?
Do you think it has anything to do with the slanging match they had with each other on the touchline during the Blackburn game ?
My mate knows Danny Collins, he doesn't want to leave the club.
He is good cover at left back and Central defence, hope he doesn't go.Did you know that Everton and Blackburn made him offers last season ?
I've heard a whisper Saggy Chops is gonna bid for Keiron Richardson seing as Modric has a broken leg.
Richardson only turns it on now and again so if the offer is good I would sell him.
All sorts of rumours doing the rounds over here at the mo ie
Nosworthy to Pompey
James to us
Gordon to be sold
Leadbitter leaving as the club reminds him too much of his late dad.
Healy to Coventry on loan
Campbell to Hull as part of Turner deal ?????
Brucey's first big mistake....... Hamilton offered 50p for Daryl Murphy and he didn't accept it
Gary

Disco mate so many rumours going around at moment now Bardsley on his way out, as for the game on Saturday mate what a shambles like you said Richardson should go , ponces about in midfield every tackle is a foul, looses possession nine times out of ten. Jones pussy boy you can blow him off the ball . As for the rest of them NANCY BOYS, Gordon was ok looks to have his confidence back. I hope Bruce doesn't let Tango Man blackmail him into releasing Campbell to get Turner. We will see what happens in the next 48hrs mate. :gossip

Did you see the game James? :?

Thought Richardson was OK

Jones is certainly *not* easy to 'blow off the ball'

Gordon looked very shaky

All our 'Mackem rejects' played well, but still not certain about Whitehead

Still ... on the first weekend of the season we started top and dropped to 3rd

Now ... on the 3rd weekend we started 3rd and have now dropped to 5th - oh well, onwards and upwards.

James, can only applaud Stoke, although I can't understand why visiting teams know what they are gonna face yet still lose !
We have signed Turner from Hull tonight. Probably paid too much for him but judging from the comments on the Hull website we have bought their best player in the past 30 years !
Bruce is being given the money to build his own team. The spine of our side is now in place ie Turner and Mensah at the back, Clattermole and Cana in the centre and Jones up front.
The future is bright.....it's red and white !
Gary 8-)

Hi disco mate sorry mate cant applaud Stoke they were nothing special we were terrible and yes I watched the game with about 20 Mackems on holiday and they were all disgusted at the way we played shambles, we should off loaded Jones to Tottenham when we had the chance , I don't rate him at all he only looks good when he has someone even better than him up front with him, when he has been a lone striker he may as well not be there. I think it was a tremendous buy getting Turner and with Mensa, the defence looks pretty good ( still not sure about Ferdinand) tends to loose his marker in set pieces. Richardson well lets just see how he performs in the next few games ( if hes not red carded that is ) looking forward to the Hull game.
