When I got my application form for my driving licence I didn't have to queue. Went straight in to the Vehicle testing & registration place in Mesogi and picked one up from the wooden stand in the middle of the floor, just to the right of the booths where the cashiers work. Unless that's changed now?

The blue application form is written in Greek. You don't need to queue to get one, collect it from the public area.

For an ordinary full car licence, the fields illustrated below should be completed. If you are unsure about anything, leave it blank and the examiner will help you fill it.

Take the completed form straight to the driving examiner's office, which is the first or second door on the right down the corridor to the right of the reception. Stick your head round the door in the Cypriot way, excuse yourself and ask when you should come back to complete the process.

Only when you have had your eyesight test (you'll need to be able to read a number plate through the office window) and been quizzed by the examiner do you need to join the queue at the reception to collect your licence and pay the bill.

Wow, Graham. That will be extremely useful. Perhaps you could set up a form filling service
