Hi tonight we went out for a curry to the resturant that used to be the The Raj it is now called Jayanta in paphos. I have to say it was fab, I have tried a few currys while i have been here and it was by far the best. To be honest i think i would find it hard to remember ever having one so good. Staff were nice it was nice and clean a good all round place to be i really did enjoy myself Alex :D

just next to the the old aquarium building and the large church just at the harbour end of the bar area ? It is quite central.

Well Alex !!
I must have just gone on a bad night , or you are easy pleased ?
But that was terrible (and I told them)
first of all the dahl soup was so salty Oxana had to send it back , when it came back it was just the same .
2.50€ for a small bottle of carlsberg (no big ones) then my chillie and garlic wings tasted just like BBQ wings ..
oxana had the lamb madras and I had what I thought was a mild lamb curry , but it was very white in color and creamy , I ordered a Keema nan bread , you could actually smell that the dough that they used to make the bread was sour ,
plus the lamb was fatty ...
wont be going again :huff

some you win ,some you lose ..

 Neil honest it was lovely when we went ! Oh dear i feel awful now. I am really surprised as there were 6 of us and everyone was really happy. Sorry about that. But no you know me i am not easily pleased i am like victor meldrew were food is concerned. I would not think twice about complaining. I dont know what was wrong when you went i am a bit worried about going again now. Will have to keep looking to see what other people think. SORRY NEIL

Its not your fault
:greetings

My brother did the exact same thing with me , regarding Ocean Basket , but the opposite
way about .
He ate there , then told me it was not that good , I avoided the place for months until I was in limassoll
with friends at the mall , they suggested that we eat there , I was not up for it that much, as my brother had said it was not good , anyway ,, we ate there and I thought it was great and have been to ocean basket loads of times since ..
I may have just got a bad night , but it has put me off ..
but please dont blame yourself
:greetings
