Paphos People

I got a text last night just as we had got into bed so didn't bother to check it till today.

It's come up on my screen as Private SMS with no text displayed and of course, no telephone number....

I didn't want to reply in case it's one of those dodgy scams where they can hack your number to make calls.

Has anyone else had one?

CWB - I've not had one of these but I'm sure if there is no number, then you won't be able to reply to it

Yes ~ had one last weekend and it was quite late at night

I initially thought it was someone that I'd promised to ring trying to remind me that I hadn't ~ especially if it originated from the UK where there's a two hour difference.

I gave this text a great deal of thought for all of a couple of mins the next morning and came to the conclusion that if they won't identify themselves then there's absolutely no reason I should worry about it .

Hi All - just a quick thought on some of these calls/texts that appear to be a private numbers or not visible. I found this happened alot when I was using VOIP or Skype - this may have been corrected now - not used it for some time.
